Alba Trading Co.

My name is Tom O’Neill, AKA Tam the Hat of Alba Trading Co. I originally came from Glasgow Scotland where I managed the Square Yard flea market at the famous Glasgow “Barras.” The Barras has been open since Victorian times. I also managed an antique shop and a vintage clothing shop for five years in Glasgow’s West End.

When I first came to the USA, I decided to try doing something different, but alas, within two weeks I was back to buying and selling. I soon realized there was a niche for recycled Scottish/Irish/Celtic clothing for the Celtic contingent here in the Northwest. And I started selling at Renaissance Faires and Pirate events. My mission is to help people dress for these events for a reasonable price. Based in Hillsboro Oregon, I am the biggest recycler of Scottish/Irish/Celtic clothing in the Northwest USA. I also partner with two clothing designers who fashion clothing to order.
